Pedestrian hit by motorcycle in Tonbridge dies

A 24-year-old man has died in hospital six days after he was hit by a motorbike as he crossed the road.

The man, who was from Tonbridge, Kent, was hit by the vehicle on the town's High Street at about 18:40 GMT on 13 November.

Kent Police said he suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident and died in hospital on Saturday.

The 21-year-old motorcyclist was treated at Pembury Hospital for face and head injuries.

Officers have appealed for anyone who saw the incident to contact Kent Police.
