Trauma therapy for victim's mother

Help

Jane Steare, whose daughter Lucie Blackman was murdered and her body dismembered 11 years ago, has been receiving a therapy which has helped her face life again.

She hopes the Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) treatment could help others suffering from stress and trauma.

Lucie, from Sevenoaks, was murdered in 2000 while working as a bar hostess.

Three years ago Joji Obara was jailed for life for kidnapping her and dismembering her body.
