Man goes on trial charged with Sheerness stab murder

A man has gone on trial accused of stabbing to death a 29-year-old man in north Kent.

Pavel Vanek, who was from the Czech Republic, was found dead at an address in West Street, Blue Town, Sheerness, on 19 April.

A post-mortem examination revealed he died from a stab wound to his stomach.

Milos Louzecky, 47, also of West Street, Blue Town, denies murdering Mr Vanek. The trial at Maidstone Crown Court is expected to last two weeks.
