Police have released images of people wanted in connection with disorder following a pitch invasion at a Rugby League match.

Violence broke out at the end of Hull Kingston Rovers game against Salford on 1 October 2016 and included supporters from both teams.

The match at Craven Park saw Hull KR relegated from the Super League.

Police said a number of people had been interviewed but officers want to speak to the 12 people pictured.

Det Ch Insp Paul Kirby said the violence following the match was "unacceptable".

He added: "I would urge those pictured to get in touch with us as soon as possible or face the prospect of being arrested in front of family and friends at their home or work."
