East Yorkshire man jailed for 'revolting' child abuse images
A man has been has been jailed for two-and-a-half years after thousands of "utterly revolting" images of child sex abuse were discovered on his computer.
Martin Taylor, 52, pleaded guilty to six counts of making and possessing indecent images.
Police found more than 14,000 indecent images when they raided his house in Auchinleck Close, Driffield, in March.
Taylor also had 8,000 non-pornographic photographs of children he had taken on the street.
No action was taken against Taylor for the street photos, as they were not illegal.
Sentencing Taylor at Hull Crown Court, Judge Jeremy Richardson QC said it was a serious case as the pornographic images featured the sexual torture of children.
"Each and every one of the images was utterly revolting," he said.
