Immingham Docks death: Man killed in truck plunge named

A man who died when the truck he was in plunged into the water at a port on the River Humber has been named.

Trevor Moxam, 51, from Sheffield, was thought to have been driving the vehicle when it entered the water at Immingham Docks, Lincolnshire on Tuesday.

Humberside Police described his death as an "industrial incident".

An inquest was opened and adjourned, with a police and Health and Safety Executive investigation continuing.

A spokesman for Associated British Ports said: "The entire port community in Immingham is shocked and saddened by the death of our colleague.

"Our thoughts are with his family."
