North Lincolnshire Museum reopens after £150k refurbishment
A museum has reopened after undergoing a seven-week long, £150,000 refurbishment.
North Lincolnshire Museum in Scunthorpe was given £125,000 by the Arts Council England and £25,000 from North Lincolnshire Council.
It now boasts a new post-war gallery and revamped reception, gift shop and cafe.
The museum is marking its reopening with an exhibition of work by sculptor Harold Gosney.
John Briggs, North Lincolnshire Council's cabinet member for assets, culture and housing, said: "A lot of hard work has gone into the refurbishment and it will make a huge difference to the visitor experience."
