Two men killed in East Yorkshire farm accident

Two men have died in an "industrial accident" on a farm in East Yorkshire, according to Humberside Police.

The farm workers, aged 32 and 36, were found dead by paramedics who were called to a farm on Newlands Road, Sunk Island, on Monday.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said the men were discovered near a slurry pit.

Firefighters wearing protective suits and breathing apparatus were involved in the recovery of the bodies.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and police are investigating the deaths.

Police said both men lived locally.
