A man has admitted killing a woman whose body was found in a Hull hotel.

Christina Randell, 51, was discovered in a room in the Ibis Hotel on 1 February.

Deland Allman, 52, of Halyard Croft, Hull, pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility but not guilty to murder in a hearing at Sheffield Crown Court.

Prosecutors rejected the plea. He was remanded in custody and will face a murder trial in June.
