Hull homes evacuated for second time over substance find

Properties in Hull have been evacuated for a second time as inquiries continue into the discovery of suspected explosive substances at a house.

Three homes on Kilnsea Grove were evacuated at about 12:00 GMT. The cordon was lifted at 18:30.

Homes were evacuated on Sunday after a suspicious substance was found. More of the substance was found on Monday.

A 15-year-old boy, a woman, 49, and a 56-year-old man have been bailed in connection with the inquiry.

Police were first called to the area at about 03:00 on Sunday morning and evacuated the area at 09:30.

A police cordon remained in place until 19:30 on Sunday.
