Bridlington flood warning due to high tides

A flood warning has been put in place for the East Yorkshire coastal town of Bridlington because of high tides and strong onshore winds.

The Environment Agency said weather conditions had resulted in some tidal surge.

The north side of the dock area and properties on Harbour Road and the Floral Pavilion were described as being at particular risk.

The warning is in force for high tides between 00:00 to 03:00 BST on Tuesday.
