Man's body found in Humber estuary

A man's body has been recovered from the Humber estuary.

The body was spotted between Brough Haven and Gilberdyke, East Yorkshire, by two people in a yacht and the coastguard was informed.

The unidentified body is of a man aged between 20 and 30 years old, Humberside Police said.

The family of 21-year-old Stuart Gilson who went missing after a night out in Hull in January have been told of the discovery.

Mr Gilson was last seen at Drypool Bridge in the city on 28 January after a night out.

Hundreds took part in unofficial searches for him co-ordinated on Facebook.
