A man and a teenage boy have been arrested after a man died in a quad bike accident in Doncaster.

Police said Nathan John Robinson, 22, was driving a stolen quad bike on Thorne Road, Blaxton, when he lost control and was thrown into trees.

Mr Robinson, of Dunscroft, Doncaster, died at the scene on Monday.

A 23-year-old driver and 16-year-old passenger, who were in a nearby car, were arrested on suspicion of theft and perverting the course of justice.

Police are searching for the driver of another car that was directly behind the quad bike and did not stop when the accident happened.

Officers believe the driver may have vital information that could help with their investigation.
