The funeral of three young children who died in a house fire in East Yorkshire will be held next Tuesday.

Three-year-old Maddie Hudson, Anthony Hudson, five, and William Beale, nine, died in the blaze in Clarence Avenue, Bridlington, on 11 November.

Their mother, Samantha Hudson, 27, remains critically ill in Scarborough Hospital and is still unaware her children have died, police said.

The funeral will be held at Emmanuel Church on Cardigan Road in the resort.

The children will be buried in a cemetery in the town.

Emergency crews who were called to tackle the blaze have been invited to the funeral by the family.

Humberside Police said investigations with the fire service had showed the fire started in the front room but the exact cause was still unknown.

The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
