The parents of a woman who was killed in Scunthorpe have paid tribute to their "caring and loving" daughter.

Jane Parker, 25, died in an ambulance after she was injured in an incident at a house on the town's Dragonby Road on 27 October.

Her mother Caron Urch said her daughter was due to start a new job at a beauty salon just days after her death.

Mrs Parker's husband Steven, 24, has been charged with her murder. He is due at Hull Crown Court on 5 November.

Mrs Urch said: "Jane was the most caring and loving person that anyone could wish to meet, she would give you the last minute of her day without question."

She said her daughter had completed a beauty course at Scunthorpe College in order to make a better life for her and her children Jessica, seven, Kaitlyn, five and three-year-old Liam and was due to start her new job this week.

Mrs Urch and her husband Roger said their daughter had a love for animals and music.

They added: "Jane will be missed by all her family and everyone who knew her.

"We are still coming to terms with our loss in such tragic circumstances."
