Man denies murder of Kirsty Wright in Redditch

A man has denied murder following the fatal stabbing of a 21-year-old woman in Worcestershire.

Kirsty Wright suffered serious stab wounds at a house on Evesham Road in Redditch on 15 March. She died the next day in hospital.

Akeel Hussain, 29, pleaded not guilty to murder at Worcester Crown Court.

Mr Hussain, of Pembroke Croft, Birmingham, is due to stand trial on 24 September.
