M5 closed in West Midlands after crash kills two
Part of the M5 was closed in both directions after a collision in which two people died.
The driver and a passenger in a Mercedes died in the crash between junctions three and four near Frankley services in Worcestershire.
Another driver was believed to have minor injuries after the incident, which happened at about 1140 BST.
The M5 still has one lane closed in either direction.
The incident came as there was increased traffic on the motorway as a result of the Spring Gardening Show at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern.
There have been delays of more than an hour for drivers and congestion on the southbound carriageway was back to junction two at Oldbury and northbound to 4a, where the motorway meets the M42.
Police, fire and ambulance services have been at the scene, assisted by officers from the Highways Agency, and the crash was being investigated by the Central Motorway Police Group.
An air ambulance has been at the scene.
