Police car involved in Worcestershire collision

An unmarked police car has been involved in a collision with another car in Martin Hussingtree, near Worcester.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said two police officers and a police staff member needed hospital treatment after the accident on the A38.

The member of the public in the other vehicle was not hurt. The road was closed for about three hours.

The Independent Police Complaints Committee is looking into the incident.

The police staff involved were not seriously hurt.
