A woman from Worcester who has Parkinson's disease and raises money for charity has beaten thousands of people to win a UK "hero" award.
Becky Hurd, who raises money for The Cure Parkinson's Trust, won the HiQ Hero accolade after thousands of people voted.
She has been handed a £500 cheque and a £5,000 cash sum to be spent on a worthy charity or project of her choice.
Former Olympic champion Sally Gunnell presented the award in Birmingham.
Ms Hurd said: "I'm both delighted and humbled to win such a prestigious award amongst such great company in the other shortlisted contenders.
"I was so shocked because the other nominations were equally worthy."
