A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after a pupil was attacked with a penknife at a Hampshire school.
The teenager was questioned on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm after the attack at Oasis Academy Mayfield in Southampton on Thursday.
The victim sustained an arm injury after two students reportedly got into a fight, but did not need hospital treatment.
Police said the boy was bailed until 10 April, pending further inquiries.
A statement from Oasis Academy Mayfield said the school had "no higher priority than the safety and personal wellbeing of all our young people in school."
A spokesman said the school was "swiftly made safe" by staff before police arrived.
