Michael Freshwater death: Teenager bailed

A youth of 17 arrested on suspicion of murdering a man found stabbed in Southampton has been bailed.

The body of 49-year-old Michael Freshwater was found at a flat in Westridge Road, just after 16:15 BST on 29 April.

The boy, who is from London, was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

He was the eleventh person arrested as part of the murder investigation and was bailed until 12 July.

Ashton Singh, 26, charged with perverting the course of justice following the death, appeared at the city's magistrates' court on 3 May and was remanded in custody.
