Emergency ambulance involved in Southampton crash

An ambulance on an emergency call has collided with a car in Southampton.

Two people in the car suffered minor injuries in the incident which took place on Tebourba Way, Millbrook, shortly after 09:00 GMT.

The ambulance was not carrying a patient and its crew of two were unhurt, said South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS).

Police and the SCAS have started an investigation into the cause of the collision.
