Fareham crash left cyclist with 'life-changing' injuries

A cyclist is in a critical condition after a collision with a car left him with life-changing head and spine injuries.

The 35-year-old was thrown from his bike at around 13:00 GMT on Wednesday 13 January in Highlands Road, Fareham.

Now police are seeking information about the crash which involved a silver Mercedes A Class.

Officers want to hear from anyone who saw a man riding a purple ladies mountain bike in the area.

He is described as white. Police also want to trace the driver of a white Peugeot Boxer van that pulled out from Stow Crescent just before the collision.

The injured cyclist was taken to Southampton General Hospital.
