Man killed in A31 crash was 'greatly loved'

A man who died in a crash involving three vehicles on the A31 on Wednesday has been described as a "greatly-loved" family man.

Bryan Webb, 58, from Alton, died at the scene of the collision on the southbound carriageway between Chawton Roundabout and Four Marks village.

A family tribute read: "Bryan was a greatly-loved family man, taken too soon, who will be missed by so many."

Two other people - a man and a woman - suffered minor injuries in the crash.

The road was closed after the crash, which happened shortly before 19:00 GMT.
