Southampton man charged after road traffic death

A man has been charged with causing the death of a woman in a road traffic collision.

Alison Steege, 35, from Southampton, was struck by a car near the General Hospital on Tremona Road, on Saturday 25 April.

Daniel Rogan, 24, of Sandpiper Road, Southampton, was charged with one count of causing death by dangerous driving.

He has been bailed to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on 5 January.

A 23 year-old Southampton man arrested following the collision was released without charge in July.
