Isle of Wight police officers suspended after sex offence arrests
Three police officers arrested over allegations of conspiring to commit sexual offences have been bailed and suspended from duty.
The Hampshire Constabulary officers were among six arrested on Thursday over incidents that took place on the Isle of Wight this year.
The arrests followed information from a victim, who is a member of the public.
The men have been bailed until February, pending further enquiries.
Police have not disclosed the gender of the victim or provided information about how they came into contact with the officers or the other suspects.
The investigation has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
