Tribute to Rachel Lee after fatal crash near Winchester

The family of a woman from Waterlooville who died in a crash near Winchester have paid tribute to her.

Rachel Lee, 24, died in a crash between her Vauxhall Corsa and a lorry on the A272, by Cheesefoot Head, on Tuesday morning.

Her family said in a statement: "Rachel was a lovely and kind girl. She was always thinking of others and delighted in making them happy."

The driver of the lorry, a 40-year-old man, was treated for shock.

The family statement added: "She was always busy and active, but was tragically lost in this horrible accident.

"Family and friends will miss her greatly.

"The family respectfully requests that we are left to grieve in peace at this difficult time."
