Southampton homeless shelter murder suspect held

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a homeless shelter in Southampton.

Belinda Dalby, 26, was found at The Society of St. James, Millbrook Road East, on Friday evening.

A 30-year-old man from Southampton is being held in police custody for questioning.

Hampshire Police urged anyone who had "seen or heard anything suspicious in the Millbrook Road East area over the past couple of days" to contact them.
