Three men have stolen cigarettes worth £4,700 in a raid on a New Forest petrol station.

They forced their way into Hinton Service Station in the early hours of 25 April.

Police said a dark-coloured Vauxhall Corsa-style car entered the forecourt from the Dorset direction of the A35.

The trio then made off in a car "at speed" towards Lyndhurst. Hampshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

They also want to hear from anyone who may have been offered cheap cigarettes that may have been stolen.
