Fire at Weymouth industrial estate engulfs two buildings

A large fire has damaged buildings on an industrial estate in Dorset.

Crews were called to the blaze at the Granby Industrial Estate, in Weymouth, shortly before 16:00 BST.

The fire engulfed two buildings on the estate with a third said to be affected by smoke. There are no reports of any injuries.

Forty-five firefighters using an aerial ladder platform and breathing apparatus brought the fire under control within three hours.

The two damaged buildings are thought to be a clothes shop and car workshop.

Firefighters have remained on the scene to dampen down the premises.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
