Police officer cleared after Hampshire van chase

A police officer has been cleared of dangerous driving following a pursuit of a stolen van in Hampshire.

PC James Holden was following the van which crashed through a railway barrier in Cosham before being stopped in February 2011.

The officer, from Fratton, pulled out of the chase after the stolen van crossed the railway line, Guildford Crown Court heard.
