Driver arrested after biker dies in Petersfield

A driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a motorcyclist died in Hampshire.

The 48-year-old man, from West Sussex, was on the bike when it collided with a Land Rover on an area of private land in Buriton, near Petersfield.

He died at the scene of the crash on Saturday at about 1345 BST.

A 62-year-old man, who was driving the Land Rover, was arrested and questioned by police.
