Boy, 12, charged after Portchester cannabis factory find

A boy of 12 has been charged with producing cannabis after Hampshire police investigating a fire found a cannabis factory.

The fire started on the Castle Trading Estate, Portchester, on Monday.

Officers later uncovered up to 500 cannabis plants growing inside and arrested four people.

The boy, two men aged 31 and 20 and a woman of 22, all Vietnamese nationals, have been charged and are due before Portsmouth magistrates later.
