Four held over pedestrian crash death in Stroud
Four people have been arrested after an elderly pedestrian was killed when a car crashed into him.
The man was walking on Bisley Road in Stroud, Gloucestershire, at about 14:30 BST when he was struck.
The four are being held on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
They include an 18-year-old man from Gloucester, two men aged 18 and 36, and a 37-year-old woman from Stonehouse.
The road was shut temporarily.
"Officers performed CPR and an air ambulance attended but the man sadly couldn't be saved and died at the scene," Gloucestershire Police said.
