Murder charge over teen stabbing death in Cheltenham

A man has been charged with murder after a teenager was stabbed to death in Cheltenham.

Steven Sharpe, 31, from Cheltenham will appear before magistrates in the town later, Gloucestershire Police said.

Camran Green, 17, from the Black Country, died after being stabbed in the stomach at an address in Shakespeare Road on Sunday night.

Mr Sharpe is also charged with assaulting three police detention officers.

A 31-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on bail until 3 November.
