Police have arrested four teenagers on suspicion of attempted murder following an armed attack on a pub in Gloucestershire.

Four people forced their way into the Greyhound Inn in Littledean at about 22:15 BST on Friday, after it had closed for the night.

A member of staff was assaulted and threatened with a knife.

A 19-year-old man, two 16-year-old males and a 14-year-old boy, all from Gloucester, are in police custody.

Watches and money from a safe were taken and a fire was lit as the gang left.

The pub remained closed all day Saturday because of smoke damage.
