Firefighters battle Gloucester factory blaze

Dozens of firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a scrap metal merchants in Gloucester.

The fire broke out at about 09:00 BST at the Avon Metals factory in Bristol Road. There are no reports of injuries.

Eyewitness Nicholas Drinan said he heard "a few massive explosions" and described seeing "horrendous smoke" coming from the site.

The fire is now under control. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
