Four arrested after Cheltenham stabbing

Four people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Cheltenham in the early hours of the morning.

A 34-year-old was stabbed several times in the Brunswick Street area of St Pauls at about 03:15 GMT, a Gloucestershire Police spokesman said.

Paramedics were called to the scene and he was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A house has been cordoned off while officers carry out an investigation.
