A fifth person has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a man whose body was found in a car park in Gloucester.

A member of the public found the body of Victor McDermott, 44, on Quay Street at about 08:15 GMT on Thursday.

A 44-year-old man from Gloucester was arrested earlier. He joins three men aged 31, 45 and 48 and a 45-year-old woman, already being held in custody.

Mr McDermott had no known address and police said next-of-kin were yet to be informed.

Ch Insp Steve Porter said: "It is very unusual for us to try and find someone's family in this way as we always hope to speak to their next of kin before the person is publically named but sadly we have not been able to locate them."
