Norovirus closes Gloucestershire hospital wards

Visits to patients at Gloucestershire's two main hospitals have been limited after an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug norovirus.

Kemerton and Oakley Wards at Cheltenham General Hospital and rehabilitation wards one and two at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital are closed to visitors.

Anyone feeling unwell with even mild symptoms of sickness or diarrhoea is asked not to visit patients.

Exceptions include people visiting on compassionate grounds.
