Police take dog from Gloucester house after attack

A pitbull-type dog has been taken from a house in Gloucester after a man was attacked.

A Gloucestershire police spokesman said officers raided the property in Norman Ball Way on Friday.

The 34-year-old was attacked in Hamer Street on Thursday night after a dog was released from a vehicle. Police said he suffered serious leg injuries.

Two men, aged 18 and 24, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

A police spokesman said the dog would be taken to a secure kennels for assessment.
