Gloucestershire man in court on attempted murder charge

A Gloucestershire man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash.

David James Cruse, 22, from Terry Ruck Close, Cheltenham, was arrested on 4 January. He appeared at Bristol Crown Court earlier.

The collision between a car and the bike happened on Princess Elizabeth Way in Cheltenham on 17 December.

Mr Cruse is due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on 23 March.
