Four men held after clothing thefts in Tewkesbury

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of theft after 12 boxes of clothing were stolen from a lorry parked in Gloucestershire.

Police were called to Alexandra Way, Tewkesbury, after reports of a number of men acting suspiciously.

When officers arrived they found a lorry had been broken into and items including clothing and shoes taken.

Neighbouring police forces were informed and four men were arrested on the A46 in Evesham.

The four, aged 20, 24, 25 and 33, and from Birmingham, are being questioned.

A Gloucestershire Police spokeswoman said the value of the items taken was not yet known.
