The father of a 33-year-old woman, found dead in a Bristol street last month, has appealed for help in finding out what happened to his daughter.

Kristy Healey was found at the Tarnock Avenue junction with Great Hayles Road in Knowle on 24 October.

Post-mortem tests on her body were inconclusive.

Ms Healey's father, Steven Hart, said the family was "devastated" by the death and he urged anyone with information to come forward.

Open mind

"No matter how insignificant you may think that piece of information is, it may make a difference," he said.

"I need answers and someone out there has them."

Police said they were keeping an open mind about the death which may have been "a tragic accident".

Det Insp Kevin Kehoe said: "We do have a possible sighting of Kristy arguing with a man on Willinton Road in the early hours of Sunday 24 October.

"We are also keen to speak to him as he may have information that could potentially help this inquiry."

Ms Healey leaves behind a seven-year-old daughter.

A 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death and released on police bail.
