Nazeing hit-and-run motorcyclist death: Woman arrested

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing the death by dangerous driving of a motorcyclist who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Essex on Christmas Eve.

The man, 24, from Harlow, died in Tylers Road, Roydon, at about 04:15 GMT, police said.

The woman, 25, believed to have been driving a BMW towards Nazeing, attended Harlow police station on Christmas Day.

She has been bailed pending further inquiries until 26 January.

The road was closed for several hours.
