Three more men have been charged with the murder of a south London man, who was stabbed to death in Essex.

Hassan Mohammed, 24, was attacked in York Road, Southend, on 7 July and died in hospital the following day.

Essex Police have charged Danzel Bhebhe, 21, Simbarashe Zemura, 18, and Vasile Iftinca, 40 - all from the Southend area - with his murder.

Tajwar Alam, 18, of Seaford Road, North London, appeared in court in July after being charged with murder.

Mr Bhebhe of Inverness Avenue, Westcliff, Mr Zemura of Kursaal Way, Southend, and Mr Iftinca were remanded into custody at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court.

Mr Iftinca was charged earlier this month with attempting to pervert the course of justice.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Mohammed, from Camberwell, died as a result of two stab wounds.
