M25 crash at Thurrock leaves four injured

The M25 has reopened after a crash involving cars and HGVs left four people injured.

The collision happened on the anti-clockwise stretch of the motorway shortly after 07:00 GMT.

Two people were seriously injured in the collision between the Dartford tunnel and Junction 31.

Tolls at the northbound crossing were suspended shortly before noon by the Highways Agency to ease "severe" congestion.
