Natalie Piner: Body found in car in Clacton identified

A woman found dead in a car at an Essex seaside resort has been formally identified.

The body of Natalie Piner was found in a Mercedes C180 in a residential car park off Marine Parade East, in Clacton, on Wednesday.

A formal identification process took place earlier and it was confirmed that the body was that of Mrs Piner.

The 36-year-old woman was last seen by her husband at their home in Meredith Road on Saturday.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death, police said.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out during the course of the next few days, after which police will submit a file to the coroner.
