Jogger found unconscious in Harlow dies in hospital

A jogger who was found unconscious in Harlow on Wednesday has died.

The 62-year-old man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital after passers-by spotted him on grass near the town's Third Avenue.

Essex Police had appealed for information about his identity on Wednesday as hospital staff did not know who he was.

He was identified later that day and died in hospital on Thursday. The death is not being treated as suspicious.

On Wednesday, medical staff said he had suffered a "serious internal head injury".
