Boscombe fire: Woman rescued after 'deliberate fire'

A woman was rescued after a fire was started at a house in Bournemouth.

Dorset Police said they believed the fire was suspicious. An investigation involving police and fire officers is under way to establish the cause.

The woman who was rescued was taken to Bournemouth hospital to be treated for the effects of smoke inhalation.

Police have cordoned off the home in Boscombe's Spa Road. The emergency services were first called to the scene just after 06:00 GMT.
